You Might be a Liberal…

The following statements were extracted from a viral email I received. I edited and modified some.

1. If you believe that capital punishment is murder, but abortion on demand is just a procedure, you might be a liberal.
2 If you believe employers and corporations create oppression and governments create prosperity, you might be a liberal.

3. If you believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than U.S. Nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese and North Korean communists, you might be a liberal.

4. If you believe that there was no such thing as art before Federal funding, you might be a liberal.

5. If you believe that global temperatures are less affected

by historical changes in the earth’s climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUV’s, you might be a liberal.

6. If you believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is natural, you might be a liberal.
7. If you believe that the HIV virus is spread by a lack of federal funding, you might be a liberal.

8. If you believe that the same teacher who can’t teach fourth graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex, you might be a liberal.

9. If you believe that hunters don’t care about nature, but loony activists who have never been outside of San Francisco do, you might be a liberal.

10. If you believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it, you might be a liberal.

11. If you believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money to make ‘The Passion of the Christ’ for financial gain only, you might be a liberal.

12. If you believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, you might be a liberal.

13. If you believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high, you might be a liberal.

14. If you believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Edison, you might be a liberal.

15. If you believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and affirmative action are not, you might be a liberal.

16. If you believe that Hillary Clinton is an honest and kind person, you might be a liberal.

17. If you believe that the only reason socialism hasn’t worked anywhere is because the wrong people were in charge, you might be a liberal.

18. If you believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but a liars and adulterers belong in the White House, you might be a liberal.

19. If you believe that homosexual parades displaying drag, transvestites, and bestiality should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal, you might be a liberal.

20. If you believe that illegal Democrat Party funding by the Chinese Government is somehow in the best interest to the United States, you might be a liberal.

21. If you believe that this message is a part of a vast, right wing conspiracy, you might be a liberal.

22. If you believe that it’s okay to give Federal workers the day off on Christmas Day …….but it’s not okay to say ‘Merry Christmas’, you might be a liberal.

23. Lastly, if you believe these previous 22 statements are offensive, but burning a flag, urinating on a crucifix, and having homosexual sex in public for a school project deserves public support, you MUST be a liberal.
