The sword and the book.
July 20, 2008 – 6:59 pm - By AnthonyAs many know I have a difference of opinion with most churches today as far as structure. I don’t want that to misinterpreted as me having an issue with people doing ministries. I don’t have the authority to say who should and shouldn’t be in ministries. I do however love it when someone who should be in a certain ministry is in that ministry. There is something about how God designs us to do certain things that when we do them, it’s moving. I thought if you study the Bible and read books you’ll be more in tune to what was going on. Today I bled to death in a church while a Pastor who wields the sword well cut me to pieces. It was humbling and thats how God works. I was sure about what a “biblical” church looks like, but as always the only thing you can be sure about is that God has saved you through His Son. I think a body of believers that loves God and desires so badly to be in His will while adhering to Biblical principles cannot possible be wrong. I feel like I’ve been away from home too long. Sometimes we shouldn’t get so intellectual that we forget that God is concerned with the condition of our heart. I would like to apologize if anything I said was offensive to anyone I know. It wasn’t meant as a dig against those I love. We can study about a sword but it’s humbling when someone cuts you with it.
