Progressives Fight Back Against “Dangerous” Tea Party Movement

The Tea Party is over! At least that’s what progressives are saying on their latest website. Their mission, as stated on their website, is to prevent the tea party’s dangerous ideas from gaining legislative traction. That strikes me as odd, since the tea party folks tend to line themselves up with the principles and ideas found within the constitution. They also tend to share principles with the founders of the United States.

The tea party movement is dangerous, but not as they would like you to think. It is not dangerous to the American people, but dangerous to the progressive movement. Tea party supporters are exposing the progressive agenda and untangling the intricate web of deception that has been put in place for a full take over. The election of President Obama combined with a Progressive house and senate was utter nirvana for progressives. Then came the tea party movement, with principles and values that transcended humanistic ideas.

This is movement struck a chord with freedom loving Americans whose eyes were open to the slavery we were about to enter. People from all over who were never active in politics or news rose up to challenge the status quo. Before long, there was an ACORN scandal, Republican governors in NJ and Va, and a Republican won in the Massachusetts senate race. These are big steps in a short amount of time. The tea party people are also the reason Obama’s health care reform is where it is today, no where.

This has sent liberals running. Although they can keep most of their failures, motives, and scandals out of the mainstream media these days, many people have found alternative sources such as talk radio and the internet. Once the mainstream media was exposed as being biased and in the bag for progressives, independents took their attention elsewhere. Now, with an educated public, Obama’s agenda has become very unpopular and hard to pass. Combine all of this with the November elections coming up, and it spells disaster for progressives. We can be sure though that progressives will stop at nothing to keep power. If they feel lying, cheating and stealing will get the job done, so be it. It’s always been their mentality to let the end justify the mean.

In conclusion, the Tea Party has become more than a threat to progressives. The people don’t need to be protected from the Tea Party, they need to be educated on progressivism. This new “organization” is the liberals answer to the Tea Party movement, set up only to distract and falsely accuse conservatives while they try to pass their agenda under the cover of darkness. My solution to them is simple, ignore them. It is a desperate thing to call the founding principles and values of this country dangerous. Perhaps we need a more clearly defined mission statement from that group. The only party that will be over will happen in November, and that would be the Democratic Progressives.

    Marcus,

Really? Why don’t you use the example of the American Revolution instead of Nazi’s? Why must you try to demean people who are organizing and protesting in a very fundamentally American way, by calling them Nazi’s just because you don’t agree with their politics. Its much more Nazi-like to suppress speech and to demonize the opposition with exaggerated analogies intended to infuriate people and distort a movement. Better to offer debate on the issues rather than just insult people. I think so anyway.

George, So how much help do you actually offer to the poor or desperate people from your own pocket? How much time do you volunteer to help people? How often to you pay for someone’s lunch who otherwise can’t afford it? How much do you donate to real charities that actually help people? You may do a lot, or very little. I don’t know you, so I can’t possibly know what you do. But, it seems you would rather the government do all these things on your behalf. This is where I differ.

I am a very compassionate guy and try to help people in need where I can. Real Charity means to love others (look up to etymology of the word ‘charity’). Its each persons heart that leads them to help others or not. When the government takes over the charity work, than its no longer charity but entitlement. It enslaves the poor and creates in them an addiction to government services. It also creates loyal voters who vote for whoever gives them the free stuff.

So, don’t judge people you don’t know by calling them derogatory names and claiming they don’t care about others. You don’t know what other people actually do. The difference is whether the government should be doing this, or should people or private organizations help others in need and not rely on the government to do it for them. That’s the real difference.

(in case you didn’t know, “teabaggers” is derogatory and is a vulgar expression relating to a sexual act. Its equivalent to calling someone a “c-ck s-cker”. So you should probably not use the term, unless you are deliberately trying to insult people.)

    Tea party… brown shirt(Sturmabteilung)… black shirt(Schutzstaffel)….
When a mob encourages violence in anger, they are no different than what happened in 1919 in Germany

    George,

Rather then doing typical liberal name calling, why dont you focus all that steam on reading the bill and see that YOU are the one that is in error. Does it take 2,700 pages of laws & regulations to help a few mentally handicapped people..come on Georgie..you surly can see the idiocy in that statement cant you? It is NOT very hard to understand that since we have ALREADY spent about 12 TRILLION & just raised it another 2 trillion that we DO NOT have…how much help do these poor handicapped people need?
IT IS NOT ABOUT HEALTH CARE AT ALL!. These progressive lawmakers would rather have the mentally handicapped snuffed out!!

  5. Anthony says:

Yeah, that’s what the tea party movement is all about. You may be just a little misguided george.

  6. george says:

You teabaggers have no compassion for the less fortunate. How are you agreeing with cutting federal funding for disable, people with mental problems who can’t hold a job.Single women with children who live in depressed areas etc..what will happen to them? Will they be thrown to the streets??
