NY Post Hires Famous Whore as Columnist
In a bad economy, it looks like things are looking up for Eliot Spitzer’s whore. The New York Post has hired Ashley Dupre to write a weekly column. Her column will be about relationships and sex. The message this sends seems to be par for the course for our culture. It seems that prostitution isn’t something you want to leave off your resume these days. There was a time, when a woman like this would have been ashamed of her exposed crimes. There was also a time, when the thought of a whore writing a column about sex and relationships would be a joke.
I would like to state that a woman who had men pay her for sex is not exactly an expert on relationships. I don’t care how they package it, or what her justification is for what she did, this sends the wrong message to girls all over. What’s next? Maybe we can have a pedophile write about parenting your kids? Can we get a murderer to write a column that helps us with conflict management? Can anyone even take this column serious? I have a feeling that all her questions will come from people who are ignorant enough to believe she actually knows something. When your only credential is being a whore for a famous person, you don’t bring much to the table. Way to go NY Post!
I have read her column and am shocked by parents asking her questions about their kids. I hope people are satisfied with shallow, amoral answers that will only lead to more pain in the lives of the people effected by her advice. She’s in a risky business that effects people’s lives, but she’s been there before. Enjoy the column Ashley.

John 8:11 b (New Living Translation): “Go and sin no more.”
Redemption? She is glorifying her sin, I don’t see repentance. I was simply stating a fact….she is a whore (by trade). She was paid for sex.
What ever happened to loving the sinner and hating the sin?
Full disclosure-I’m read the NY Post daily.
I think you’re way to harsh on Ashley. I don’t know her particular circumstances of why she was involved in prostittution. But, if she put that behind her, and now she’s a writer maing an honest living, all the better for her. I believe redemption because there’s a higher power that washes all that away.
I’m a programmer. I like to think I’m a good programmer. However, I would never take advice about programming from one who only sells computers. John 8:7 has no meaning here, either. We are not stoning her. We are only ignoring what she has to say. Hold your Bible over your table, not a person.
and I shall smoketh it!
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone
