Justice Department Continues to Show Agenda with ACORN
As Eric Holder continues to serve Barack Obama, he continues to make his agenda more clear. In recent history he’s made great decisions such as, failing to: prosecute all the criminals in Congress, prosecuted black panthers intimidating voters (on camera), enforce drug law (ending raids on marijuana clubs), trying Gitmo detainees in civilian courts, and now his office is siding with ACORN on the federal funding issue. This is a disturbing pattern of injustice. They were defunded due to a major scandal caught on film. If the common person ran their business like Eric Holder runs the Department of Justice they’d be fired.
The Justice Department is approaching the issue from the contract perspective. Federal agencies with contracts to ACORN are not to violate them among the scandal. How does this scandal not void these contracts? What is their obligation in these contracts? Typically when a person is getting federal funding and a scandal breaks out due to how they are using that money, they cease getting money. Simple logic. Break the law, suffer the penalties. I suppose we can rely on this Justice Department to be partial to things of Obama’s agenda.
ACORN is whining about how they have been suffering since funding has been withheld. They’ve complained that they’ve had to fire people, and close some offices recently due to lack of funds. Apparently in the interest of social justice we need to fund ACORN, no matter what problems they have. I suppose if you don’t investigate the organization, they won’t have any problems. If they don’t have problems, they they can have funding. That’s the Holder plan!
There is only one solution. Make a list of times Holder has perverted justice or turned a blind eye and fire him. He has proven himself incompetent and worthy of being let go. It’s one thing for a politician to have an agenda, but it’s disgraceful for the chief law enforcement officer of our country to act like this. There is no room in the justice system for such bias, especially at the top.
