Wow this is ridiculous. When you lean into pitches, they tend to hit you. It's unfortunate the Phillies don't have another 88 million to spend to have an all star team. Could you imagine The Phillies with another 88 million? That would put Joe Mauer as our catcher, Roy Halladay and Tim Lincecum as our #2 and #3 pitchers, and give us a huge bullpen and 3rd base upgrade. With money to spare. The Yankees 201 million dollar salary, double the MLB average makes them a pack of cheaters. Imagine an NFL, NBA, or NHL team with TWICE the salary of their competition, talk about a dynasty! Instead the Yanks somehow manage to buy enough talent to FINALLY win one out of the last 8 titles. It'll likely be their last for a while, I think a soul only gets you one World Series win nowadays.

I totally agree with your statement about the Phillies being cheats. Fortunatley the Yankees showed up to win and play ball, and demonstrated a better character of class by refraining from any retaliation by beaning the other players. Forget hitting the best players on their team. They should just aim one at the head of their pitchers next year to get even. I'm sick of other pitchers thinking they can get away with this crap! Lets see if they continue doing this when its them who has to take a fastball to the back or hip. And did you notice that the announcer was saying something along the lines of "If they have to pitch inside to strike you out, its gonna happen"...when describing how it was supposedly ok that A-Rod kept getting plunked by pitches. He's a classy guy. All he said to the refs was "It's getting to be a little obvious."
