Doug Hoffman not Afraid to Represent Conservative Values
In the 23rd Congressional District in NY, there is a political battle brewing. It’s not the typical Republican and Democrat race where there are very subtle differences between the candidates. In recent days the line between the two major parties has faded away. The Republicans, who use to represent conservatives, have decided that they would stand a better chance of winning if they mimic those who are in power. What they don’t understand is this, Americans like choice. No matter what party one belongs to, we like to have the option of changing things if they get out of hand. That’s hard to do when we have liberal and liberal-lite. For the first time in a what seems a long time a unapologetic conservative is ready to stand up and represent the people of his district.
That candidate is Doug Hoffman. He has emerged as a serious competitor in New York’s 23rd district. He is willing to succeed or fail while standing on his values, and that’s something the American people haven’t seen in a while. He is not circumventing the issues with fluff answers, rather he is the most well defined candidate running for that seat. It would be wise to rally behind such a candidate as he seeks to not only restore confidence, but restore what is great about the United States.
Conservatives from all over are rallying behind Doug Hoffman. Prominent people such as Glenn Beck and Mark Levin both interviewed him on their radio shows. Rush Limbaugh spent considerable time talking him up. Now, Sarah Palin has come out publicly to endorse and support Doug Hoffman. It seems that Doug certainly appreciates their support, but his real interest is the people of the 23rd district and restoring greatness to New York. Doug wants to restore the greatness of the individual.
I believe the people of the 23rd District in New York are the right people to show New York that, if you are willing to stand on your values and represent the people, your political party is not important. When a candidate stands on their principles and values, you KNOW who you are voting for. The Republican candidate, Dierdre Scozzafava, has been endorsed by the “Working Families Party”, a quasi-communist party with close ties to ACORN, and she accepted it. Need I say more. The Democratic candidate, David Valesky, doesn’t even have where he stands on the issues on his website. That’s not exactly a person I’d trust.
There is only one clear choice in that district, Doug Hoffman. I think the people of the 23rd District will go with the candidate with clearly defined principles and values. For more information Check out Doug Hoffman’s website by Clicking Here
Disclaimer: **I was not paid by, nor am I associated with Doug Hoffman or any party in NY State**

Ever since Barack Obama ran for president I got in to politics. But I thought because I was black I was only about democrats. The more I read up the more I’m not too sure. I know this Doug Hoffman seems to be old skool, but I don’t trust these others anyway. He might get my vote. No one seems good in politics.
