Democrats Find Themselves in a Pickle With Voters
It seems the independents have spoken in Massachusetts. In what can only be categorized as the election heard across the country, Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley for a senate seat previously held by Democrats since 1952. Prior to Tuesday the Democrat machine pulled out all the stops to make a last minute pull for Coakley. Even the President put it on the line for her. The day after the election however, the Democrats from all over are throwing Coakley under the bus. We’ve seen this before with gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey. The fact is this, Obama no longer has clout with the American people. He has failed us and we know it. He may still have clout with his party members but he is single-handedly destroying political careers one after another.
This special election now sends a message to Progressive Democrats, your job is not safe. This backlash is being cause by closed door deals in Congress, blatant broken promises and continually ignoring the people of this country. The media may try to marginalize the voice of the people and politicians may try to act as if no one is protesting, but when it comes down to it, we will be heard at the ballot box.
It seems as though the independent voters are waking up to the reality that the Obama administration is not only taking us in the wrong direction but forcibly dragging us. When the liberal Democrats try to back peddle and double speak, remember what they want to do to us. They want to rule over us. If the president is willing to sacrifice careers at the alter of his agenda, what does that say about him and his agenda? It says that it’s not what the people want. The progressives in the democrat party have made their intentions known, and on Tuesday, the voters in Massachusetts made their intentions known. There is no turning back for those seeking to destroy our country from within, we the people will prevail, no matter what dirty tricks they try to pull.
