Climate Change Regulation Seeks to Replace Freedom

These days Copenhagen is a buzz with all that the “global” community can do to help combat man-made global warming or climate change. So how did we arrive at climate change exactly? 30 years ago, we were face to face with an “ice age” that was, of course, man made. I remember in the 90′s we had acid rain. Due to pollution, the rain was going to get so bad that it would burn you if it touched your skin. It was mayhem. Shortly after that, using aerosol cans, such as the hairspray type, contributed to this massive hole in the ozone layer that would kill us all. Finally, we all know about global warming. It’s a man made disaster! Humans put so much garbage (CO2) into the air that it has caused the planet to warm severely. Every time you breathe out, you are contributing to climate change. (will they ban exercise) We are way past global warming now. We have arrived at climate change. Climate change is a term so vague, that it can encompass just about anything the elite want it to. Wait until you hear some of the global “options” put forth to control you, oh I mean climate change.
Some of the methods world leaders are considering in combating climate change are global taxes, emissions trading, and rationing. Apparently, if a wealthy nation gives a ton of money to a poor nation, the climate gets better. Having trouble following the logic? Me too. Also, if corporations and people hand over more money to the government through carbon trading and penalties for going over their carbon limit, we will begin to fight the problem. Don’t think of it as a tax, rather think of it as you doing your part to save the planet. If you can remember, cut meat out of your diet. That’s right, the farms are very destructive to the environment. I would think they would tell us to eat more meat, if they are dead they don’t emit anything.
The final solution has started to surface this week. Population control advocates now feel comfortable bringing the issue into the mainstream. That’s right, government sanctioned families. I couldn’t think of anything more absurd than a 1 child policy. To be clear, I don’t think that will happen in the United States, but the fact that people actually want that is scary enough for me. I believe that if you are for population control, you should lead by example. Have no kids, this way no one carries the torch of insanity.
As the fight rages on, the climate change advocates continue to get more and more aggressive. Liberals claim the debate is over and warming is true. That happened right after the climate-gate emails came to light. I am amazed how those emails have been swept under the rug. The media is so in the tank for this nonsense it’s insane. I just got back from Europe, and if you think the US media is bad, the global CNN channel is shameful. (Climate News Network) If we look at the methods, tactics and proposed rules used by the pro-warming crowd, it looks like a power grab. How does paying a poor country help the global climate? This whole thing smells like a scam to me, especially when you put Al Gore at the helm.
