Is There Anybody Out There?

Well it looks like I can’t resist writing another political article due to all the nonsense I hear in the news. I know Obama’s presidency is in it’s infancy but I have to speak up on some of his first decisions. I am having a hard time following the logic of Obama’s policies.
The first decision I’d like to address is his decision to use tax payer money to fund abortions overseas. Is his obession with infanticide so uncontrollable that, in the middle of what he calls an economic crisis, he wastes our money on abortions for foreign people? The logic of this decision escapes me. The day after he issues a pay freeze on the salaries of white house officials making 100 thousand or more annually, he funds abortions overseas. All I can say is, it’s going to be a long 4 years.
The second thing is his trillion dollar stimulus package. More to come on that. I guess we’ll find out how giving away a trillion dollars will fix our problems.
Number three on my list is the closing of Gitmo. I’m not sure who this sounds good to, but I assure you, it’s not me. There are 61 people who have been released from Gitmo and either returned or been killed on the battlefield. I think Obama doesn’t understand why they are there. Oh by the way, I don’t want these terrorists in my local penitentiary. If it isn’t broke, I guess we’ll fix it until it is. Did I mention he doesn’t exactly know what he’ll do with the prisoners that are currently at Gitmo. Good strategy. Along with Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Hillary Clinton has been put in charge of what to do with the terrorists at Gitmo. If it was up to Hillary they would probably be running on a democratic ticket the next election cycle. Ok, that was a joke.
The fourth and final thing is he issued an executive order limiting the powers of former presidents and vice presidents to block the release of sensitive records of their time in the White House. This now opens the doors for liberals to gather information and try to defame the Bush administration. Sensitive information is sensitive for a reason. I cannot understand why Obama doesn’t understand this. This premature move may come back to bite him where he sits. Obviously Obama is easily persuaded by liberal ideology. The fact that he would allow sensitive information to be aired is testimony of his lack of concern for security. Not to mention, all his whining about his Blackberry finally paid off, now he has a $3000.00 phone (I’m sure taxpayers got that for him).
So far he has proven himself to be catering to liberals, ignorant on security issues and terrorism, void of Christian values, lost on financial matters, and void of convictions. Like I said previously, it’s going to be a long 4 years.
