The Purpose
The general idea is to have a venue to express ideas, concepts, opinions, thoughts, questions, and comments from a biblical- Christian worldview in order to stimulate open and free discussion.
The Writers
The writers on this site, specifically Anthony and Derek, are simple Christian guys who love to study scripture and discuss their studies with others. We claim no special authority in a church or otherwise, nor do we have a seminary degree. It is not our intent to have anyone think that we are trying to be authoritative in what we write. What we write is based on what we believe. For biblical topics, we try to always come from what we believe the bible teaches. It is not always the same as what others traditionally teach. If not understood well, this can lead to contention.
When it comes to “controversial” topics, we expect fair and responsible comments from everyone. We are certainly wrong often enough and need correction from sound biblically-based rebukes, rather than emotionally charged rhetoric. We want to remain humble and respectful of all participants here, and in the process our hope is to serve God, above all.
The Discussion
The most important thing regarding the discussion (comments) is that it remains respectful and responsible, from everybody, Christian or not. I expect that some topics and opinions may be very objectionable to some, but any kind of emotionally charged retorts are of little value. We hope that each participant will maintain self-control and provide well-thought out responses, with all due respect toward each other. Anything less just won’t get published, and would be a waste of one’s time.

The purpose of these ads are to generate modest financial support for the hosting and upkeep of this website. We do not control the content of the ads, as they are dynamically generated from Google’s Adsense(TM) system based on the content of the page. We are aware that some of the ads lead to sites that we do not support nor agree with. However, we have no direct connection with any advertiser.
